bpb changes things weekly and i would rather they gifted it to the save dreamland campaign that had it there doing nothing.I dont think its a h&s issue and its one of the best family attractions in the park and theres only 2 left,so if it aint reopening scott whats happening to it!!!

The steps that lead from the pay box to the upper section of the ride (I think via a rope bridge) have been removed. I watched them board off the 'hole' in the wall where the bridge used to meet the ride and then paint over it today.

Got to agree its gone.

is it not possible they could make it back the way it was with the original entrance at the front, after all i think its only a matter of time before the gates get moved out to the new ticket office and front of park allowing amanda to use the front courtyard in front of the ark for something visual or perhaps a bandstand style structure like at disney

By the time Sat comes around the un-trained eye wont even know anything has been done. The pay box has completly gone, and the steps and bridge removed. The wall around the edge of the ride had a hole in it where the bridge used to meet with the building, this has now been filled in so it looks as if no bridge was ever there.

Nice thought - but I really can't see it happening. I know the area between the ticket centre and the security centre does feel as if it is wasted space, but I can't see them making major changes there. If they did have such plans I really don't think they would have removed superbowl and made the sculpture gardens.

Of course, I have no idea what the long term plans are - those seem to be a closely guarded secret for some reason. Of course, I am assuming that there is a long term vision....

from the info i have been given from my source (who is very reliable) it will remain as a grand entrance to the park but its not going anywhere and it wont be reopening.Although whether it will reopen in the future remains to be seen,in the meantime its been repainted and is looking grand, hopefully amanda will have a change of heart and reopen the last ark in europe. Which i believe is the best walk through family attraction in the park, probably in the uk and my 5 year old daughter misses dearly as she was only able to go on it twice before it closed.ps great picture!!

I must admit it's a bit odd to leave it in place as a grand entrance however I suppose thats better than it going completely! Seems this is a regular occurance for the PBB! Leaving rides SBNO to tease us all! :tehe

whether the plans will change in the future i dont know but as long as its still moving and being painted and maintained then theres hope it will reopen.Unfortunately Amanda doesnt recognise a gem when she sees one,she doesnt have her fathers touch!.

Last time I went in it was badly lit, scruffy, and a bit rubbish IMO
Listen, everyone is entitled to my opinion...
