it was very lucky that the fire was contained in such a small space or it could have been much worse

Yep, its worth remembering that the Flying Machines were joined to the Nash back then, via the arcade that used to be at the side of the ride where the IceLounge outdoor seating now is.

Ontop of that Trauma Towers and Alice (which were damaged) could have taken hold and gone up aswell.

The fire crewe's and PBB staff on hand did a great job.
