Why doesn't it surprise me. There's hardly any security on there, and hardly any fencing protecting the park, their own fault if you ask me.

But still, sad to see the last old Pleasureland memory destroyed.

this building would have been removed by the save dreamland campaign if it hadnt been for the asbestos in it.Sefton council should allow something long term to be done with the site, not the silly urban spash pipedream.

Very sad news :( But if the park has very little security then it was a very open target. :boohoo

I must admit; seeing the ride on fire in thoose pictures takes me back a wee bit! It feel's strange seeing the park the way it is, and this ride.

It's such a shame seeing it now be torn down for good. What little of the park was actually left is slowly disappearing from our grasp. It's either being burnt down, vandalised or butchered and used for other purposes!

R.I.P - Pleasureland!

To be honest; it's such a shame seeing the park as it is. The place is still going down hill, month after month due to vandalism. I really which some sort of long term future would be confirmed soon.

If only PBB had sold the place as a going concern. :eh

I have to echo this comment, it's such a shame to see the real last iconic part of the park now gone.

In a short way.. I doubt it. Can't see the park ever being secure enough.
